1. Affiliate Summit Guide to Networking
I've created a Guide to Networking for Affiliate Summit attendees to help everybody get an understanding about what folks want from you when networking.

This guide features responses from affiliates, merchants, and networks on what they hope to get out of networking.

Also, Affiliate Summit attendees can now start choosing who they'd like to meet at Affiliate Summit 2006 during the Speed Networking session.

The Speed Networking requires advance registration, and this must be completed by January 3, 2006.

Here is how you can do it:

1. Log-in to http://www.NetworkingMatch.com/AffiliateSummit
2. Update your 'Profile' or create one if you haven't, yet
3. Click 'Submit Meeting Requests'

The Speed Networking session is on Sunday, January 8 from 8 PM to 10 PM in the Bally’s Las Vegas General Session room (combined Gold/Silver Ballroom).

2. Affiliates Should Be Masters of Their Own Domains
If you are an affiliate, you are giving away money and you probably don’t even know it. There are a variety of ways that popular domains can lose traffic due to typos. The more well known the domain becomes, the better the chance that somebody out there is trying to siphon off visitors.

The good news is that you can plug these traffic leaks with a little money and setting up some sub-domains through your Web host.

3. Convert RSS to E-mail Newsletters Automatically
AWeber, my favorite vendor for sending e-mail autoresponders, follow ups, and newsletters, has launched a new feature that enables customers to distribute their RSS feeds by e-mail.

This has many applications for affiliates and affiliate managers, and I think this will really help to mainstream the adoption of RSS feeds.

According to an October 2005 White Paper published by Yahoo, "Awareness of RSS is quite low among Internet users. 12% of users are aware of RSS, and 4% have knowingly used RSS.

So forget about this RSS jibber jabber!

5. Buying Advertisements on AffiliateTip.com Through Google AdWords
I've gotten lots of inquiries in the past from folks that wanted to know what terms they needed to bid on to get their Google AdWords ads to run on AffiliateTip.com

Unfortunately, I had no idea, It seemed the same advertisers were on there all the time, so they must have cracked the code.
