1. Affiliate Summit is Sold Out
Affiliate Summit 2008 West sold out earlier this week.
This is going to be the biggest Affiliate Summit to date with space for approximately 2,500 attendees. The biggest Affiliate Summit until now was last year in Las Vegas with 2,079 registrations.
If you are looking for passes, you can try registering on the Affiliate Summit site, as we are adding registrations back to the system when we get cancellations. Otherwise, there will be a wait list.
Alternately, there have been passes sold on eBay in the past. If you are buying a pass from a third party, please be sure to ask for the seller's name and registration number.
Then contact registration@affiliatesummit.com to confirm that the pass can be resold (some passes are not transferable).
The dates are February 24-26, 2008 at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
2. GeekCast 5 - ShoeMoney vs. WickedFire
The fifth episode of the GeekCast Show lasts about 45 minutes featuring Sam Harrelson, Jim Kukral, Lisa Picarille and myself chatting about a cease and desist from ShoeMoney to Jon at WickedFire over a recent forum thread about ShoeMoney.

6. Affiliate Fatblogging, Episode 13
I had a bit of an off day for the Super Bowl, so I didn't weigh in last week. Since then, I've been disciplined with plenty of working out, eating foods on the Weight Watchers core plan, and gulping down lots of water.
The result… I've dipped below 200 pounds for the first time in quite a while, which makes me very happy.
I am not at 197, and I started at 216 back in November 2007. So that's 19 pounds down, and just 2 pounds away from my goal.
There is still more than a week for me to hit the number, so I think it's a lock. I just need to do it by the start of Affiliate Summit on February 24, 2008.
I suppose that reinforces what I was talking about last week that you have to adopt a long-term, healthy lifestyle, and not a short-term diet.
It's just not realistic to always be regimented, and I look forward to falling off the wagon once in a while. Just get right back on and don't fall off too often.
