1. Wayne Porter Honored with the Affiliate Summit Legend Award
On the first day of Affiliate Summit 2006 in Las Vegas, Wayne Porter was honored with the Affiliate Summit Legend Award. This was the first time the award was given, and it's purpose is to recognize individuals in affiliate marketing who have distinguished themselves as leaders and innovators.
The award will be bestowed upon additional players in the affiliate marketing space at future Affiliate Summit events.

2. Return on Affiliate - Social Networking for Affiliate Marketers
I stopped by the booth for Return on Affiliate towards the end of Affiliate Summit 2006 in Vegas, and I don't know how this neat idea has been under my radar for so long.
Return on Affiliate is sort of like LinkedIn or one of the other broad social networking communities, but it's specific to affiliate marketers.
It's free to set up an account there, and then you have access to searchable profiles of Return on Affiliate members, private and instant messaging, a company blog, message boards, etc.
Looks to be a good start - they've got over 100 members just 15 days after launching, and I'd love to see this grow into a place for affiliate marketers to connect, network and share expertise.

Get Your InstrumentPro Commissions by PayPal
If you are promoting InstrumentPro through the MYAP/Kolimbo version of the InstrumentPro affiliate program, you can now receive your commissions via PayPal. Just login to your account at http://www.instrumentproaffiliates.com and click the Personal Info tab. Then scroll down and click Yes on the option: Pay Me with PayPal. Below that option, enter your PayPal e-mail address and you're all set to receive future commissions at your PayPal account.

5. Make ClickBank Searchable with CBmall
I'm big into info products, and often buy them on ClickBank. But they've got a problem there - it's somewhat difficult to find what you want, because they don't make their database of more than 10,000 products searchable.
Instead, ClickBank ranks the products by what they call their 'productivity score,' which is a measure of the average net amount earned per affiliate per referred sale, average percentage commission earned per affiliate per referred sale, fraction of publisher's total sales that are referred by affiliates, and the number of distinct affiliates who earned a commission by referring a paying customer to the publisher's products.
It's a useful systems in some ways, but not that helpful to the consumer. Enter CBmall, the 'Authorized ClickBank Mall.'
